4agze Fuel rail leaking

Went to crank over my 4agze turbo conversion tonight and found fuel leaking/spraying out from what I think is the cold start injector. Its coming from the bolt on the fuel rail itself found just before the end of the rail nearest to cam belt end.

Found the bolt tight at both ends of the hose ( connects from fuel rail to intake manifold)

Any other ideas what could be causing this?

have you got the washers on the bolts?

will check tonight, have a feeling from what my tutors have said today to check for the copper washers

Pays to replace them and not reuse the old washers, they are crush washers, use once throw away.

Fuel is risky stuff if it sprays onto hot motor :)

Yes this.
For the price of copper washers, it's a bit silly to reuse them.
If they are there, replace them.

turns out i was missing a washer exactly where i thought so brought a pack for 6bux and replaced both, now there is a another leak which is coming from near the middle of the fuel rail. So if i have no work on sunday i will be ripping out the fuel rail and redoing

Middle, injector O ring perhaps ?

I'm thinking it has to be the orings or something similar, Its a big port manifold and the leaks is from the middle split in the intake runners

Whats the best thing to clean off the fuel with, my exhaust pipe currently stops under the sump inline with where the fuel was dripping so need to clean the excess off my firewall before starting it up to check the earthing issues

here are some photos of the top of my injectors, leads me to believe the o rings are stuffed. Also if i put bigger injectors in do i need to change my FPR or can i just put in some 440cc or 510ccs and be away laughing?

Stock reg will be fine. Just use water to rinse off petrol or degreaser if you have some.

so can go as big as 510-550cc running factory ecu and have no problems and not run too rich?

no, it will run richer unless you change the ecu or trick it somehow
