I have to say this brings up an interesting side discussion: what is the ideal amount of power for a street driven daily.
Myself? when I finally get my V9 I will be doing a nice TBE with a good quality drop in replacement filter and a reflash at stm, end result probably 220kw atw or around 350-360hp at the flywheel. should be good for a high 12 and more than enough for the street.
Even my flatmates stock type RA wrx which probably makes around 160kw atw feels more than enough. I am all for 400kw cars but how many of these people think through what they are actually going to do with the car once they reach that power figure? I mean just look at performance car magazine, how many times do you read the cover car article which ends in "and now that XYZ has finished his 500kw evo he has decided to sell it"= translation, I built this thing and am now so in debt I cant upsize my burger king or I have realized I have ruined my daily driver?
Again I am not trying to bag on the original poster its just it seems many people who do similar builds never hold on to them for long and there must be a reason why
