I have the 2012 MVR44, lol @ claims the outlet port is the same size as that on an F38

Was Blake referring to that model?

If you could get some verniers and measure the ID of the outlet, just for interests sake, that would be good info for this thread.

IMO if you're at the point where having an outlet port that is 1 or 2mm smaller than the valve is a problem, you're using the wrong sized wastegate altogether and going to a turbosmart isn't going to help you. Wastegates are such simple devices that it's hard for them to not work.

Also, the Hypergate and MVR share the same v-band kits so I'm not sure that their ports are vastly different.

i never measured it, i did note it was maybe 1mm smaller than the inlet if that. but nothing like a 38 no way

there is a huge difference between valve being 38mm and outlet being 38mm. The 38mm Valve will flow a less than 38mm opening.
