Info about light truck (12.5") wheels and gear ratios??

Postby Paulio » Fri Feb 08, 2013 9:30 pm

Hey guys happy friday

So i've got myself an ugly ass van with little back wheels, its one of those flat decks with no wheel arches in it and the floor is raised.. must be made for carrying big heavy things.

So the short of it is i want to change them for normal wheels, has anyone here done this before? i guess they will fit on sweet as? But will the gear ratios be ok? and how does one adjust the speedy so it reads the correct speed?

Any info appreciated cause im lost!

with standard road wheels fitted, the gearing will be quite tall, and hill starts could be a mare ?

Yep delica p05v. I'm tempted to change the whole back end to standard because even the stud pattern for these little wheels is different
