Wheel alignment question

Hi all,

My Legacy went in today for a wheel alignment today. I have the print out and upon studying it I have a few questions.
I am assuming where it says "Before" it means the original measurements, "Actual" is what it is now and "Specified Range" is the range that the "Actual" figures should sit between?

Also for the front wheels it has a list of things like Camber, Caster etc... one of them is SAI (or SAJ, dodgy dot-matrix printer) what is this? It says the range is 13"35' - 15"05' but one wheel is 15"20' and the other 15"29'. Is this going to matter?

Also does anyone know if a '95 Legacy SW has rear toe adjustment? The right rear wheel is within range, but the left rear shows that it was 2.2mm and now 2.3mm (the range is -1.5mm to 1.5mm).

And no it isn't going to matter, and not all the measurement they give you are adjustable anyway. Changing some will slightly change other, but if it's that close to spec then don't worry about it.

Pretty sure anything that doesn't have a live axle has at least toe adjustment.
Reality: A nasty hallucination that is caused by excess blood in the alcohol stream.

Sorry, missed the rear toe bit. If they're adjustable then I'd be asking them to set it properly

Yeah I'll give them a ring tomorrow if they're open.
I personally didn't take the car down to the place for the alignment... but I'll definitely find out.

Sometimes for a road car and normal alignment place they will set it outside the normal limits to make it drive straight etc on our cambered roads..

Perhaps the camber... but for 1 wheel to be out of toe?

Half of the supposed professionals can't even work out what is and isn't adjustable on most cars. :?

Rang them this morning and found out why
Apparently with Christchurch roads you have to run a pinch more camber on the left, and to stop the tyres wearing on the inside they compensate by adding a bit more toe
Sounds reasonable to me, most Christchurch roads are quite off cambered
