Head light bulbs

Hey guys, after nearly 200k I've finally lost a bulb in the dina

I wouldn't mind something slightly brighter than it had/has, but don't want to be blinding other motorists.

Caldina has glass lights, so heat isn't going to damage the enclosure right?

A friend told me he got narva +100's and they were quite a bit better than standard - are they legal for road use?

I don't really care about the colour, I just want more light as I do a fair amount of night time driving on the open road.

Yup fine for road use. I've had a set in my Levin for a couple of years, they're really good

I picked up a set of the Narva +90 bulbs for my Celica, heaps better at night than normal halogen bulbs!

I have plus 100's in and have used them in all my cars since the early 2000's wouldn't even think about anything else.
Would get plus 120's if they'd had them in stock when I needed them. Just so much better than standard, especially on rural roads at night. Don't dazzle people anymore than normal bulbs.
Don't go for the blue/arctic ones, I wasn't impressed with them

I forget now which I got, but 95% sure it's the +100 bulbs, made a good difference.

Absolutely, factory wiring is not up to the high drain of big wattage bulbs. Get a Toyota specific kit though as as they are wired different.

Could always check the voltage across the bulb... If it's the same, or very similar to the battery voltage, then adding relays won't make any difference.

Generally speaking standard wiring isn't up to the job, especially once it starts aging. Have seen visible improvements just with a relay kit.

I got some of these for the FTO..did fair bit of research and these are concluded the best in tests (compared to both Narva and Phillips).

Dont be put off the fact they are made in China...they are genuine. OSRAM manufacture anywhere but Germany these days.

haha, was jsut for reference. ST215 used H7's? will say on the housing and I'm sure the OP would check what he needs.
