I read theres twp brake tests, 3&5 cycles. The higher being expected when the ability to wind up boost exsists. This is where Ill probaly be pinged, think they may handle 3 cycles ok, but 5 may be a push and be told to upgrade.

A simple pad compound change will sort that out, Scott.

Ill take you for a drive once its running and you can confirm this. Its a nearly 2 tonne car being stoped by the same brakes as a na jza80, and Im making it posible to increase power by 50%.

You guys are confusing the threshold required for certification from standard with subsequent mods after cert. 20% is ONLY a threshold required for cert above a standard vehicle.
If you cert a car with a larger turbo even on a run in tune it will be tested to it's abilities in line with legal driving. Brake test for example is still only done to 100km/h even if your car can do 300km/h. Run in tune or not a reasonable driver should not experience any serious change in vehicle dynamics at road speeds.
Bigger turbo after cert is a re-cert but a retune when certed with a tunable computer is not.

The NA brakes have lots of good pad options, you just need to get something thats rated to a higher temperature than you are running now, and you will be amazed how well they will work.

What pads are you running now, out of interest? And how much meat do they have left on them?

Not sure what they are to be hounest. Fronts are mag n turbo specials of some sort, bake are jollyjumpers old pads. Sugested pads? Would sloted discs be of any benifit?

got slotted discs for the mrs supra with just some BNT pads and its a hell of a lot better than stock, but still think something more is needed for 300+kw, lol
current: 96' Supra RZS single Gt42 490kw at 20psi, daily - Hiace 2.7 van '05
previous: 92' mr2 g-limited, fuls gen 2 turbo conversion, steel ct20b, external etc etc :)
drift car: 94' silvia s14 sr20det 307kw @18psi

Are brake upgrades listed on the cert plate?
How about wheel spacers?

If you're running cheap and crappy pads, you will certainly limit the performance potential of the brakes.

Yip Brakes have a dedicated space for info, spacers are also noted on plate
