Ditching the 4K and moving straight to a 5K for the sedan then?

Yup, its cheaper for me to get new pistons with rings for a 5K than it is to get custom rings made for the 4K. Seeing as how I have a solid lifter 5K block in the garage, I might as well use that and get some more cubes.
Oh, I also polished and refaced the lifters today

Then noone would be able to call my MR2 ghey ever again :P

Seriously though someone but that MR2 and either remove all the shame that has been piled upon it or put it out of its misery and burn it to the ground.

If I had the disposable cash to do such a thing easy, I would do exactly that, restore it to stock and watch its value skyrocket

Repaired broken vacuum advance ground wire inside the distributor of the EP81 Starlet. Was causing an epic miss at low revs with load. I guess that's what happens when the wire has a break in it....

Havent actually done anything to my car lately but had a hoon in an mx5 the other week at manawatu car club winter series. qualified 2nd and posted 2nd fastest time in class. had a bit of a mare in 1st race spinning on last lap after holding 2nd place before the rest of the day turned into stay-on-the-track with torrential downpours. got significantly wet couldn't see 10m in front of the car and was just guessing where the corners/apex was. lol was fastest in the rain which made me happy first time in a rwd car on the track..

been helping a mate out with designing ae86 suspension geometry as well

Got to finish drawing steering rack, shocks and strut tops to be able to analyse the bump steer etc we want to set it up for..
