hey team..


Who is currently running a 20v head with a later link g4..?

What dizzy are you using? The link is not liking the factory one at all..

When I upgraded to the G4 on the starlet I fitted coil on plug(COP) so no dizzy needed , I did keep the base of the dizzy for the pulse/ reset for the timing 8).
I found a place in oz that makes a plate to fit COP to 20v ,actually they make a few bits you might like, have a look http://s-86.com/parts.php

I turned the cap down and made a inset to tidy it up

"Oversteer" is when you hit the fence with the rear of the car.
"Horsepower" is how fast you hit the fence.
"Torque" is how far you take the fence with you.

Does not matter if you run the base or the whole thing the settings are ther same for the triggers.

The 20V dist should work perfect on the G4.
Mine does and so does all the other one'si have seen.

Either you have a wiring issue or a trigger setting issue in the program,
or a dud dist.

How have you wired it?

as above 20v stuff works perfect with link. its the same 24tooth and sync setup, as 16v smallport and heaps of other toyota's run.

yeah I run a link g4 atom on my bt and it works fine on the factory dizzy.

ECU was set to crank not cas for the pickup.
