XS1V wrote:The key-less entry system is a dealer option as is piggy backed into the car. The receiver etc is mounted under the drivers seat and wires run along the sill and into the kick panel. Three scotch locks go to power, door sense and one other wire while the main plug piggy back into the CDL module. The main fault is the factory remote and is much cheaper to go after market.
Give me a shout if you did want to go down that route

May just pay to check that the switch is not jammed in one direction,
have struck this quite a few times at work,
and it stops the central locking from working.

But that new intergration relay you fitted, I think this will be stopping you from using your current remotes or getting them to work. Unless you can locate the rego/VIN off the Camry you got it out of.

I dont think my soldering iron is anywhere near delicate enough for the job, given its tip size.
Does anyone from the 04 know who in Wellington would be good to take both units to, to have the melted relay replaced?
Thanks
