Mk1 and S130 were both out in 1978.
Mk2 and Z31 were both early 1980s.
JZA70s came in about the same as the Z32s (Comparing JZA70 rather than all Mk3s as the engine tech was a fairly big jump on both Nissan and Toyotas part).
Nothing really came out from Nissan to compete with the JZA80. It would have been the next logical step for Nissan to freshen up the 300ZX if they wanted to keep that game going.
The Skyline isn't really a GT car like the Supra, I wouldn't put them in competition with each other. Much like I doubt a new Supra (if sticking to the powerful RWD setup) is going to go head to head with the GT-R.

Noticed that white LFA is left hook.It's probably one of the US demo cars.
I'm going to attend the showroom event at R & B Kent Tce on the 11th.
I think its already done some laps at Manfield already.
