Digressive vs linear shocks

Hi all

Going to get a new suspension set up for my soarer and am somewhat lost when it comes to shock technology.

I was looking at some tien flex street, but I got reading that digressive shocks (like the fortune autos ones) might be better .

Car is street driven, with just maybe the odd track day.

Does anyone have actual experience with the difference between the two and which would be more suitable for a daily driver?

Digressive is far better for daily driving. We have our MRP coilovers which are semi digressive but no where near as much as Fortune Autos.
Street driving ride quality is very different.
You can look up their explanations on their shock tech section from the web page.

I've supplied guys the FA in place of coilovers such as BC etc and they were quite amazed on the ride quality difference plus better handling as well.
Basically you get what you pay for :)

Second the FA stuff - even running heavier spring rates in my car the FA ride quality is great! I work on and drive alot of cars with Tein / BC / D2 / Yellowspeed / HKS etc etc coil overs and they are all good to a point but often at the sacrifice of either ride quality or handing where as the FA stuff seems to be great at both. Bilsteins would be my other recommendation but they come at a price. The original Billys for my car were over $650 a corner but they were full custom builds.
