FWD/LSD gearbox fluid?

ok ill say it again
vicous wont fit in a c52/56 the unit is to large
and ewan"10k20v" has a confermed torsen in his

your correct in saying a viscous is a weak lsd so give less touque issues

there sre very few torsens in the c seres g/boxes
imm still tring to find another

apprently the bzr box has one as stock
this is where ewans one came from

Mine is garanteed torsen, no trd markings or anything so i presume stock toyota item and i use normal gear, albeit expensive synthetic
And no, i'm not going to pull it out again for pics, shits and giggles,

oops, when i said 'c' series before i meant 'e' series :oops:

the ae101 'c' series box doesnt show an lsd option. the gtz uses the viscous type in the 'e' series box

the starlet turbos use the c56 box with viscous lsd.

the ae111 bzrs suposidly had lsd stock but we had one a month or so ago that wasnt.....
trans code for c160 6spd with lsd is c160-12c

yeah if you look athe the caseings(on the epc) on the glanza v box you will see that the model with the viscous has a extended housing out the bac to acommodate the extra size of the viscous

just went down to k road and confumed that
will that c56 bolt up to a 4age?? or are they compleatly diffren tin the bellhousing ??

yeah extended casing out the side as well...
to the best of my knowledge they will bolt up, later ae101s used the c56
and as with most other toyota boxes if you have an engine with a '#' type box another '#' type will fit.

hasn't been known for toyota if there adding an option to a new vehicle to source parts already manufactered, thus fitting trd diffs as stock items. just a thought
