Simple intrest poll, Please be honest as votes will only lie to your self.

Any bickering or negative comments will result in a lock by me and i am intrested to know the stats from this.

So please IF you REALLY have to comment keep it clean.

I can only assume your vote means you can also do the stuff below to.

I assume mates gave a hand as no one can carry a gearbox alone unless

Engine swapper / Gearbox changer / Clutch fitter I would say moving more towards the other two i.e. currently rebuilding my Capri from the ground up (with help here and there) and will then move on to the KE25 with the engine swap 8)

Standard installer here, but I have replaced my own clutch, fuel pump and other crap. I could probly do an engine swap with the right tools and directions. I have pulled a motor apart aswell, didnt put it back together though as it had a huge hole in the side of the block

I'm inbetween Basic and Standard. I can do my own sounds, pod filters, oil changes, etc

Though I do admit I ask for help on most stuff.

as far as my own cars go, I know them almost inside out and do almost everything myself (except machine work - since I don't have the right machines, and wheel alignments, because I don't have an alignment rig :) )

If I was to perhaps have someone throw a 2005 Audi at me or something, I think I'd be fairly lost...

I can do most things myself...have done engine builds (nothing particularly high tech, 12A 6port would be about the trickiest). Done engine, clutch, gearbox and diff changes.
Only things I can't do are similar to Malcolm...and fabrication, cause I dont have a welder [/b]

Done an engine swap and manuel conversion but did have a friend there teaching me as i went.
Brake pads, oil change etc. are a piece of piss to do on my own.
Prefer to buy the parts and do it on my own or have someone showing me how to do new things

I have no problems putting things where they are designed to go, eg swap a gearbox etc. But when it comes to putting things where they arent designed to go (aka vvega and his 1UZ AW11) i get lost.
