Cambelt tensioner

Cambelt tensioner
im changing my cambelt on my silvertop, ive got everything off easy as but the bolt that holds the tensioner on wont come undone ive broken a couple of sockets and its now rounded the head on it and i dont know how im gonna get it off? any ideas?
ADMIN EDIT: signature too large
Hit the head of the bolt with a hammer a few times then try agian.

maybe invest in some better sockets in the future also. I gave all my sets hell, and mis-use them for all sorts of things, but have never broken one.
if the crc or hammer does not work, file down to the next size socket first. if still not work you could weld something on for leaverage, or even grind off heads, remove tensioner and tackle it then with a little more room.

some polygrips will out-grip vice grips like knipex theve worked for me on more than one occasion

Invest in a decent 3/8 set, go for 6point sockets (less chance of slipping), I cant imagine anything worse than tools not doing the job - instant loss of interest!
