Flywheel Issues

Post by BZG_UNIT »

I have a late model ae92 gtz (1990 Facelift). I am transplanting a 4agze out of a aw11. I am unsure what flywheel will be the correct size that will fit in the bell housing.

Remember: ae92 gtz with standard g/box, 4agze from a aw11.

Cheers guys

ok, helps if you give all the info

any 4agze flywheel will suit
just make sure you get the clutch to suit the flywheel.

man we had some fun finding the right flywheel to clutch disc combo didn't we revhead.
what i ran into was as stated above you need the same clutch and cover as your flywheel. remember there are two sizes of the 4agze flywheel,
(well on the out side they look the same but its there surface friction area that is different)

as long as you get the same clutch and flywheel size you'll be sweet. like this

ae92 fly & ae92 clutch & cover into any 4agze box sweet.
ae101 fly & ae101 clutch & cover into any 4agze box sweet.

same rules apply in w5* box's

yes...... the difference isnt much, but enough that the covers are NOT interchangable.

as far as the g/box is concerned, no issue
