AE111 auto to manual convertion

well i hvae a small problem i cant get my car to start with its new manula ger box.

ive found one wire that if i hook a power source down it will turn over. but i can find the wire that turns on when i click the ingition switch on.
does any one know what i have to do to get it running.

ove tryed searching but couldfind anythink :(

What have you done with the selector plug that went to your auto box?

IIRC thats the only plug that needs to be modified. Sure you have plugged all other plugs back in?

as above, have you bridged the neutral start switch/inhibitor. need to do that when going auto-manual but otherwise should be fine.

ive pluged everything back in except for the big plug that goes into the auto box. were just putting a screw driver into on of the pins and putting it on to the battery to start it

this is what i cant do. i found the one wire that needs 12v to make the starter turn over. what wires do i bridge.
any one got pics etc??

o one other thing.
their are 2 wires comming out of the top of the gear box.
i know it's not the elctrical spedo drive.
i think it must be the oil level or somthing.

where does this hook up to

Not reverse lights switch?

Yes that plug with 2 wires is for your reverse lights. There should be a plug on top of the gearbox for this.

You shouldn't need to supply 12v to that wire. IIRC you need to join the two thick black wires. Not 100% sure as the last time I did this was almost 4 years ago :wink:

The wire from the ign switch start position goes to the same plug, but a different pin.

you need to loop the two pins together,
