spacers
not really sure if its tech or not.
the inside of my rear tyres are rubbing on the locking rings on my adjustys. they already have 5mm slip on spacers. i need say 8mm spacers, do they make them? 10mm would probley be okay?
this is too thin for the bolt on ones right?

Too unsafe for slip on spacers for that width. You need better offset wheels. Uh-oh.
No "stance", no "hellaflush", none of that bullshit. Nothing but no grip on full boost.

20mm is the smallest ones I've seen... one of our sponsers sells them on "tardme".
bolt ons have to be certed...
slip on ones may have to be too, but I'm not sure.

Not legal, I don't think you can even cert them... unless they can be as long as they have a locating ring... can't recall exactly.
Maybe just go for bigger bolt on spacers and as long as the tread is inside the guard she'll look mean. Otherwise just put some slightly narrower tyres on so that tread stays within the guard.

i think the concern with slip on ones is the amount of thread the stud losses from using them. im using 5mm ones and had to get longer studs, havnt been for wof yet but i sprayed them black 2 match the rims so hopeuly they dont pick up on them!
the faster u go, the quicker u get there

if it is cert-able, then it should be.

postfach wrote:Um, pretty sure your wheels are supposed to fit tight around the ring at the center of the hub, too, so if you put slip on spacers on, the amount of overlap is going to be reduced lots/to nothing, and then all the weight is on the studs, and they're not designed for that.
The weight is on the friction between the hub and the wheel, the studs hold the two together.
