totally depends who you get at the plates place....

the other thing is if someone finds your plate offensive, then the plates people can revoke it with no chance of appeal..

The chick probably deserved it. No way you should be sending SMS while driving.

A law that talks about distraction (etc) is fine, but I wonder how long it'll be before we duplicate the UK's laws on the subject. Then its cut and dried and less up to the officers discretion.

cellphone use is going to be outlawed

cops can already ticket you for it....

ex-g'fs sister got a ticket for basically being distracted cos she was txting while driving... cant remember the wording on the ticket, was something like "not paying due attention" or similar... $150 fine ...

But then again my mate works out at the airport and has access to a DB meter and they tested a factory STI and it came in at over 90db and they tested his supercharged levin with an upgraded ...

ive got a 2.4 td surf, yup slower than reeeeally slow thing... but thats a good thing for me :D

and reliable as an axe, as long as you maintain it, and pay attention to your guages...

i had the same problem with my old starion...

ended up having to derego it to get the plates of it, was the only option. other than getting it legal.


that class a rego might be worth a look....

i read somewhere that some estima vans come with a 2.4 supercharged 4 cylinder engine... is this correct? and if so, are the engines any good?

the other thing to keep in mind is that it dosnt always get de-reged immediately...

so if your looking at a car thats has 'just' gone over its 12 months then do a check, just dont tell the seller lol.

Real specific there buddy.
Get a multimeter or a testlight and find an ignition only 12V+
usually the Cig lighter is the easiest for me.

trying to wire up my turbo timer.

as for using a multimeter. i touch the wire with red lead and the black lead onto the ground chassis ?
