bulb in the dash would have blown... that would be my best guess. you'll need to pull it out and replace it... but if you arent sure what your doing... then don't cause there is quite often a lot of wiring behind there and sometimes its easy to get them out but a bastard to put back in...

i got my kit for my levin from extreme bodylines in palmerston norht... they had heaps to chosose from... i went with like a veilside replicer... looked awesome once it was done, but fitting was very time consuming and then i had ot get it painted... i think the bumper was a bit over six hundred and ...

i thought they were on the air intake? really, that expensive to replace though... damn... might have to see a mechanic aboiut it to be sure its faulty first..

..following my other topic, it was suggested that i should replace me O2 sensor instead... so in a silvertop 20v levin.. ae101... where is the o2 sensor, what does it look like... where do i get one and how much are they...

so it should be black smoke if its over feuling? and yes it is a 20v silvertop...

unfortunately i dont know any other levin owners in my neck of the woods... but yeah, if somebody out there has done this, please write in...

alternatively, are they expensive/easy to replace? if cheap enough perhaps i could jsut swap it anyway?

well, i was thinking it might eb running rich or something cause it tends to stink of gas a bit, and smokes a bit too from what im told (although ive never seen it... mind you thouhg, its pretty hard to see smoke when your driving the car... and it doesnt do it at idle, and it doesnt use oil..) and ...

so, like if its poked, then it wont be putting out the 5v? what will the car do if the afm is gumed up or not working?

i have a worry that my afm isnt working os well on my '92 ae101 levin... can anyone tell me if there is a test or something you can do to be sure? there arent any error codes lighting up in my dash...

where in the rear do you find said sway bar...

Lincoln Automatics in Palmerston North will do a full srevice on your auto trans in around an hour for $120 more or less... still, suppose your auckland or something?

yeah, so ive done the standard mods... plugs, air and zaust... what can i do next for my 20v silvertop levin... like, from what i've read, doing the cams and things doesnt work out well for these engines? just wanting some opinions... and no, im not considering a turbo setup...

hey, red with black stripe is the right one dude, but it can be in a different place depend on your transmission. the ecu for an auto silvertop is different for a manual. if your car is an auto, the red/black wire is in the 16pin block instead - pin 7 i think. also, you'd better make sure you vvt ...
