Just take the oil filler cap off and check for excessive blow by, if it's ok, then there's no need for a compression test. Oh sweet. Ill have a look at the rest of it tomorrow and see if there is anything else that is in there that needs attention. I did not want to pull it to bits as I did not ...

You might want to check what the crankcase pressure is like, it's unusual for a dizzy to fill with oil without some pressure behind it.

I'd also do a compression test and also check that the turbo is spinning freely before assuming that there is a fault in the dizzy seal. Which, IIRC, has no ...

The Charging seems to be Ok, its just the No charge warning light not working. Thats all.

I'll have a go at swapping them at some stage when I get my ...

Gen2 3SGTE Not Idling - Fault code 12

Last night when I was driving home, the car decided that it would not idle. It also threw up a ECU Fault code 12, which indicates Distributor.
I pulled the Dist to bits and found that there was a fair amount of oil in it which could be causing the spark to earth out. Common sense indicates to me ...

Alternator Regulators

For some time I have not had a No Charge Warning light. Now I know that when I ground the wire from the alternator the light goes on. I also know that it is charging as I have not got a flat battery.
What I would like to know is can I swap the 2 regulators that I have here. The one in the bottom ...

I had the same problem after my 3S-GTE Conversion. I found that there was an earth wire that went from the Temp gague that earthed onto the Engine block that I had missed. Hooked that up and all was well

I think I might have the drive shafts sused.
I got some out of a VZV30 this weekend at P.A.P. Will go up north this weekend to check that they fit in the box. I will also check that the spline is the correct sizing for the wheel hubs as well while I am at it, I will check the lengths to see if they ...

If you are after a stronger gearbox then you should try an Mr2 gearbox. All you should have to do is swap the selectors to the other side of the box

What is exactly involved with this swap? Do you have to cut and weld the castings back up for this to work, as I have herd it, but have no idea on ...

Small word of Advice, a 2+MB Home page is a VERY bad move. :( Although it looks impresive :D, I recommend making it 100x smaller, as not everbody has "Broadband"

Now to see what you have got :)
