i remember seeing a stock vs stock gtr vs gto. it was pretty close, think the gto won in a drag race.

these 3L twin turbo cars are no slouches. looking for bucket loads of torque, theyre the way to go. only downside is the weight of the cars which i suppose takes away some of the sportiness

z32 300zx is known for its styling. i wouldnt say the same about the gto though!

does anyone keep up to date with motorkhana events in auckland? I have attended one and almost 2 but still find it hard to find out if any partitcular club is holding one.

does someone have some handy links or keeps up to date with these things so can help out?

when i was in the states i drove an impala which had a 5.2l fwd v8. crazy car to drive. pretty torquey but absolutely painful to drive.

twins are supposed to be more responsive. i think the problem with people using twins on small capacity engines is that they always choose turbos which are far too large for the engine, then complain about the lag. if you stuck the same ratio of engine size to twin turbo size on a rb26 or something ...

the alternator wont overcharge the battery unless somethings broken.

my battery got overcharged and melted etc when the regulator blew on the alternator.

that was my plan before i realised how much it would cost to do that to a later model 4g63.

but can you say 280+ kw with close to standard spool ? :P (if you use a td05 exh housing)
