I have to admit that while mine was very comfortable to drive, and had ok'ish pull, power/weight/handling were all less than I found in other cars, which cost me less overall.

When I think about what awd/4wd 2l turbo I would choose if given a range of options, a 185 wouldn't be the first option ...

that's not too bad a price really, but you can get TGP ones from Mark for $135 which will be far superior to the crappy repco champions

drifting happened and all of a sudden the "drift cars" skyrocketed in price.
Skyline GTS-t's used to be a cheap car, now you'd be lucky (or unlucky) to get a GXi for that money.

Bogged the holes left behind by the aerial, pulled of a big bit of clear coat on the spoiler that water had gotten into and filled assorted holes in the frunk with blanking grommets or trim clips.

Richard Dean Anderson - either as McGuyver or Col. Jack O'Neill he is awesome.

Or Vladimir Putin, despite his empirical desires, he is pretty badass.

Voted James may, out of that list he ticks all the boxes:
-Cars
-Trains
-Planes
-Anything else mechanical or engineering related
-Beer ...

I would just play it safe with the coolant and run the red, as its cheap insurance. The most important thing if you decide to do the swap is to ensure you get every last drop of the green stuff out first.

Huh? could you elaborate on the differences between red and green coolant?
I have ...

price of replacement starter < price of repairing crank walk
This may be affected by how many starters you go through before having made a difference (if any?) on the crankshaft.
Personally I'd go with a bypass though, you can always push start it :P

^ You are right I worded that all wrong.
I was referring to centre to centre track measurement
Staggered set up whilst the width from the outside to outside being the same between front and back = narrower track at rear.
Offset being roughly the same I was referring to standard SW20 offsets for ...

Wider tyres also decrease the track width (If offset is roughly the same)
So running a staggered set up as an MR2 does for example results in a narrower track width at the rear of the car. This somehow affects handling in a way I don't completely understand any more than the knowledge that my car ...

Very nice footage. The 86 just looks so balanced and controllable, able to adjust speed and line anytime in a corner without the car saying "hey think fast or I'll kill you!"
The only thing those 911's that keep zipping by have over it is power

The antenna still works fine if not extended.
I never listen to radio stations so I pulled my antenna out the other day and plan to bog and glass over holes.

Then noone would be able to call my MR2 ghey ever again :P

Seriously though someone but that MR2 and either remove all the shame that has been piled upon it or put it out of its misery and burn it to the ground.

Yesterday made the incredibly illegal drive from my Mums garage in Akaroa, where it has been collecting dust since I fled shakey old Christchurch for the blacker pastures of Wellington back in 2011, to my Dads carport.
Today I pulled the intake, intercooler and associated piping and cam cover off ...

Don't know how many more you'll find under $10k and yes it has four doors but is still described as a coupe http://www.trademe.co.nz/motors/used-ca ... 661495.htm

Failing that what about a 300ZX? ignoring how much of a pain they are to work on they are seriously fast and handle well

Don't know, none of my Aussie mates are online right now to ask. If it's anything like here once you get your name ticked off then they have no idea who does what on ballot papers.
You just have to turn up and get your name ticked off, people can still choose to not vote for ideological reasons ...
