There are a few different brands of light weight Chromoly Flywheels on trade me at the mo and they all look pretty similar at similar prices $400-$500.
They are advertised at 3.8 kg which is about half the standard 4age weight. I want to stick with the 200mm clutch setup which discounts using a blacktop flywheel.
Just wondering if people have found them good value for money??
Im building a 20v pretty much standard except for 11.5 compression and Link with trumpets.

go with the chrom moly as the fandanza are shit ;dont trust alloy at all if you wont to keep your legs,.. are known to let go and if you are up at 8000rpm and bang there goes the box and also the motor

The downsides to light flywheels are low speed driving becomes hard to keep smooth and it becomes easyer to stall.
Bonus? Engine becomes more responsive as less power is lost in the inertia of the flywheel.
The ligher the flywheel, the greater these effects become.
The 212mm blacktop clutch setup will fit on these flywheels too.
