Sometimes if you let your clutch waer down too much or whatever aparrently it can wreck the flywheel where it grabs, i've been told to machine the wheel when replacing the clutch so it lasts longer??

Air in the clutch system will cause it to not disengage properly, bleeding the clutch would not help his situation...

This is true, you should always machine the flywheel AND pressure plate when you fit a new disc, or the mating sufaces may not line up, and wear out much quicker than they should.

Did you get the flywheel and pressure plate machined last time?,
thats some serious wear...it shouldent be doing that.
Either way, this time get the flywheel machined, and get a new clutch and pressureplate.
If ya still get the same wear again & its not your style of driving than maybe there is some misbalance or warpage in the shaft causing this?...although you would get some bad vibration if it was I would think.
Cant believe im still a member here.

I know of a courier driver with an ae101 fxgt, 250,000k's on the standard clutch and its still ticking...

mines done 115 and is showing signs of wear...

Does everyone have a clutch pedal that only does anything at the very top, ie 2cm of movement will dissengage / engage the clutch?

nope didn't do that, mechanics told me that it's better if i do it as well but it won't matter THAT much as long as u change the clutch before its completely worn out and i was short of cash back then so... (innocent whistle)
