jst wanting to no if standard 4agze ecu will handle me putting in blue top cams?

wat sorta power increase ya get with blue top cams in anyway? i jst gonne get them out of my old ae82 2 motor thats sitting in the shed.

but yea main point: how will they affect my agze rnning with blue top cams in? will it run at all?





ps: any one want any cheep cheep cheep bluetop 4age parts i got a motor full of emmm.

With a AFM is shouldn't make that much difference and so the ECU should be fine.

You realise that when you put in the cams you'll have to have all the tappet shims redone to get the correct valve clearance?

nope didnt realize
i herd that its jst a straight swap with blue top cams.

its map sensor no afm.

its in a ae101 tureno

bluetop cams in my ze ran sweet, good for 200 hp at with standard pulley, u may have to do shims, but i didnt

I didnt either, just changed em straight over and no issues whatsoever

yeah think so eh, hard to compare power outputs as i've used 2 different dynos of late.

Seems to rev out a bit nicer now.

i also put blue top cams in mine, straight swap all clearances were within the correct tolerences.
made my car rev out better and reduced some of my lag.
Should run fine with yoru standard ecu. runs fine with my standard ecu but mines afm.

is the changeover from gze cams to bluetop ones hard, seeings as i know bugger all, do the gains warrant paying someone to put them in? cos i've got some in my shed and if it's worth it i might as well get them put in!

prob not worth the hastle if u gotta pay someone to do it, it's basically like doing a cam belt but a bit more work needed.
