(IIRC) Celica has the most WRC wins out of any car that has competed.
Whether or not that can be attributed to cheating however, is up for debate.
Also (:twisted:) it pays to note that a brilliant rally car on gravel and mud etc. doesnt necessarily make for a great tarmac car....
The front wheel drive citroen Xsara Kit Car used to beat 4wd WRC cars on the tarmac.
Infact, IIRC, FWD citroen Xsaras won the French and Spanish rally stages one year.
(As these stages are predominantly/all tarmac)
