We used 1.5 sets of 20V quads on our XR6T focus.
After a week of trying and lots of well know people telling us it would not work,
we gave up and fitted a big single on the front.
Basically because of the physical volume of the engine 4000cc,
it causes too large pressure pulses for the map sensor to get a stable reading.

Matt, I gather you were using large overlap cams? I also gather you joined all runners together and used a pot to collect all vacuum? Then took map from the collected point?

Yes, collected them into a separate chamber/runner to try and give an overall vacuum signal.
Standard cams.
Not only us, Nizpro in australia and motec themselves told us it wont work,
and they should know.
Nizpro has done over 1 year's development on the XR6T's.

Did your solution also mean going AFM?

it will sound freaking awesome
just use the pulsation dampener from a blacktop 20v and you will have no troubles with standard camshafts
