Camber plates: Where can I get them made?

Postby no_8wire » Sat Jan 20, 2007 7:10 pm

As above, I am after some camber plates for my AW11, but dont want to pay $600+ US for the only ones I can find on the net. ( after front and rear)

Anyone know who I could contact to get some made?(Auckland based)

Stocks do everything - the plates (which you drill to the pattern at the top of your strut tower) and the slider plates/roller bearing top mount. The plates from memory were approx $120 each, couldn't tell you the slider plates price.

However, if it is just the plates themselves (ie: you already have slider plates/roller bearing) then go to Precision Engineering FTW. Took my old weak-as 6mm alloy ones in as a pattern and for $60 each they made me some beautiful, much stronger 10mm alloy ones
We know that four-wheel drive doesn't work in a racing car, and I proved to myself that it doesn't work very well for rallycross. I'm absolutely convinced that it has no future in rallying, either, even if the regulations allowed it. - Roger Clark (rallying legend), circa 1976

Or you could talk to Eugine from 86 Factory. He imports T3 camber plates. Real nice! You could get some with out any holes, and drill them to suit your car. Or just redrill the AE86 T3 one.

Bset bet would be find some that fit and either drill the plate to suit or drill the strut tower to suit
