Depends what's actually at fault. Are you sure its the rings?
If they are worn bad enough they could have damaged the turbine shaft - and that can be pricey.

For a basic tear down, clean, rings replace and assemble, you're probably looking around $250ish - or less

I don't work for them so I don't know their prices.

Give them a call and find out - ask for Chris - he's good.

Isnt blue smoke oil burnt during combustion rather than leaking out the turbo and burning up? (question... im a bit of a noob)

Usually a full rebuild will be a complete strip down, complete clean, new seals and bearings, assembly, balance, warrenty etc. Damian @ A1 Turbos is good - would recommend him.

When I put my new 4agze longblock in and changed turbo and bigger injectors mine ran majorly rich due to the bigger injectors and was tuned for standard ones.

It had black smoke and sometimes very blue. After tuning it has no probs at all.

Are you sure the turbo is stuffed?

If its too rich at idle you'll bore wash and you'll burn oil like there's no tomorrow
