would take alot of work to put back on the road. It's deregistered, and they put a Holden engine and trans in it, and a Ford 9 inch diff and front brakes - why they butchered it I dunno.. the original Toyota driveline and brakes would have been just as good.

I was thinking it needs to get the body absolutely perfect, and then decide on if to keep it old school engine or put a new school 1uz or 2jz in it.

What engines did these originally run?

Alas I don't have the space though :(

wash your mouth out.. 1uz would be the only motor to go in it. and hyrdos on 14 wire wheels.. 'training day' style haha. i actually considered buying it, but to much of a c**t to get it to tauranga.

Haha no way, Yank V8 (think LS1) with a Procharger and Trepanier style drop and smoothing of the body would rule to the hems. Imagine that... bumpers flushed as much as possible while remaining chrome, satin black or charcoal paint, mini tubs front and rear, a BODY DROP (since it's full chassis!) and 18's front, 19's rear with a hearty helping of dish that'd make the drift boys cry.

If I had a spare $HEAPS I would so do that. Dreams, thankfully are free.

Hate to burst you guys bubbles but a 1UZ wont fit in there easily, the upper suspension arms are too close together and are on a weird angle so would foul on things like manifolds, mounts etc for a wide angle V8. Best bet would be an inline like a JZ. Would have had a 4M 2.6 originally.
