ke36 sr coupe diff?

Post by Infinite »

The diff in my sr has a solid unboltable head in it? is this normal? to *remove* the head u take the internals apart from the back.... will a ke35 diff be able to replace the whole thing?

huh? you pull the backing off the diff housing?

the diff head should unbolt by 8 or 10 bolts on the front (driveshaft side) of the diff housing.

is the diff fasteners Metric or Imperial?

has the stud pattern been modified?

would narrow the possibilities down

after talking to alot of people last night fangsport is half correct its a borg warner from an aussie ke36... so chances of geting another diff like it are slim so just gona put a ke30 diff in!. but i need a new dshaft to as the bolt pattern is different...

Yea thats what i have in my SE, it looks the same (except springs etc)

EDIT: Oh you figured it out. just drill new holes in the driveshaft flange for the 30 diff.

not quite an escort diff but looks similar to a atlas or narrow atlas capri diff but doesnt have enough blot holes on the rear plate
