There are a fair few EVOs that have definitely done 9s on stock EVO gearboxes, they don't tend to last but it has definitely been done with proper stock ones.

It was more the timing that I found amusing.
But the were just as many gt4s as same era EVOs

I remember that one, I think there was also a red one at some stage with a similar level of mods, can anyone else confirm?>
Also thats not a HUGE amount of power for that 1/4 time

I think the extra torque and ability to spool the turbo that he gets from having a 2.2 stroker helps so he has less peak power but he has it for longer across the rev range. The red one you're talking about sounds like B00STN who was around the 600hp/Low 11sec range

never seen that car do a clean run (the red one) looked like it was a real handful or the guy had issues driving it. took out the timing gear at the end of the track one run

im using altezza north south sump, with extra baffles.
