I havent but thanks for that suggestion.
Looks like work is keen to do the swap with the South Island one which has all the luxuries including leather seats
Just have to wait another month.
Who knows why it wasnt the othe way around originally.

This sounds like the best idea tbh, how ever do you know if it draws off the high voltage or the 12v system?

t sounds like all these options are alot of work, why would it be so hard to reinstall the standard air con system, wudnt it be a straight bolt up?
seems like the obvious solution other than swapping for a different van

I did some research and it runs at 200-220V AC three phase. So not really an option unless you build an DC-DC with three phase drive system.
Anyway, most electric compressors run from some form of high voltage, simply because it is much more efficient, cheaper and safer to run a small motor @10-15A then @100-200A.
