Ray Hartley Motors had the two strap ones they imported, though they were fairly pricey at about $80 or so.
I have a single strap one... Does it no longer comply? Will I have to replace it?

any idea why the change to 2 straps?? only time i have seen singe straps fail is when they were mounted lengthwise in the car.

Not doing an event until next May so have time to sort it.
Have learned that a very important element of motorsport is knowing all the rules and keeping up to date.

Can you not just add another strap?

TTEETT wrote:Its a unique and very expensive car that you do not drill holes in and mount a $30 extinguisher.
It sees only track work so its no big deal, he does not need one for track events, was more an example of how MSNZ's rules can be a bit daft at times.
