Slow, as always it comes down to money, plus I've been fairly busy...2 kids, new job, renovating the house....the list goes on.

if the new shifter position is all good, I will be welding up the tunnel soon.

Sounds like you have a fair bit on your plate! Chuck up a photo of the progress sometime. Keen to see it.

Took it for a WOF. Emailed mark. Looked at a couple of fresh imports Euro Rs.. Might own one by the end of next week if compliance & panelbeaters don't drag the chain.

Removed my throttle cable, intercooler and enough SS piping to build an HVAC plant room, in preparation for the new parts to be fitted next weekend.

Made a seal between the bonnet and topmount. Para rubber FTW!

And a heat sheild so turbo stops turning intercooler into a BBQ plate

Note: Read ACL heat shield instructions BEFORE starting.
That way you avoid using the cutting wheel on the grinder before you read the bit about using methods that avoid making toxic dust :?

Aviation snips are the best tool for cutting that ACL stuff up. Just put it between the rows and it cuts like butter :)

Yup, they are.

Cheap LHD ebay ones that I heated up in the oven, opened up and modified the projection so it has a RHD pattern, however...... the adjustment on them is crap and when you get them to the right level the projector ends up all loose and moves up and down. I then bought some RHD ones (that cost 3 times the price) and they are just as bad.

They look awesome, so I am going to taken them appart again and do a proper HID conversion on them with OEM HID projectors and new adjustments. Will let you know how it goes.

Cheers
Edward

fitted the brackets for the distributor, put the front wheels on, topped up radiator to find I have a leak from the water pump. That'll teach me to do things in a rush. Least I could move it in the driveway.
