Hmm i wonder if "unable to start" would be just after "came to a grinding halt"

Going to have my first shake down race over the mangamingi saddle is a few weeks.

I also need to find some helmet speakers that will plug into a Stilo WRC intercom system, to be able to talk to a co-driver.

I believe you can get adaptors to use terracom ones and maybe omp ones as well - or ...

Have a look at truenotchs (palmy member) project page as he's running quads on a es with a link so you might be able to see from his pic's some stuff and ask him other things you can't see

Just to throw another reading out there and seeing as all the fixes have been covered my silvertop runs about 35kpa under 1krpm idle and anywhere between 35-50 when at a cold idle which is hard to put an exact rpm figure on it but is between 1100 and 1300rpm. Might wind the warm idle up a fraction ...

Axles

Any one got a spare set of silver top axles lying around they don't need. Figure i should probably carry a spare set around with me after spitting one out at an event before x-mas. Would be handy if the axles came with inner and outer cv's as well

yep, do that. get rid of it. you may need to cert it. but a one off $400 will be cheaper in the long run.

Ah but if you make it so it mounts to the original mounting points you'l probably get sway with it, still technically will need a cert but unless you take your car to get wofs where a ...

Yup and it's been done before, so long as you can do it safely there's no reason you can't do it. Also why do people insist on only travelling 60-70k on gravel roads, even when they are wide and dead straight ...
