Re: The ongoing NZV8/ V8ST/ MNZ stoush.

... but wasn't MSNZ (which is a representative body) ordered to get out of TMC and promotions by a vote of the member clubs, at the AGCM? No, not quite correct. If I recall correctly, by conference time last year TMC were already in receivership. An occurrence which saw MSNZ lose their $40k ...

Re: Car haulage - who to use? Chch to WGTN

It's been a few years but I used to use John Silcock. Moves agricultural machinery around the country. Based out of Nelson I think. Last cost for a rolling car was around $400. Sadly I can't find his #. You might find him by googling Silcock Transport .
Failing that I used to ship the rally car ...

Re: nzdm vs jdm ae82

I sold Corolla GT's new. They were quite an expensive car at the time - about $45k from memory. They were well spec'd with the leather trim and the alloy wheels, and the twin cam motor was a rarity at the time. There was only a couple of grand difference between the price of a Corolla & that of an ...

Re: Opinions: Fiat Stilo Abarth

The Stilo Abarth is a lot of car and a lot of fun for the money. Son looked at buying one a short while ago and we tested a few. The Selespeed is the issue. Whilst it worked well in every car we drove, it's reputation both online and with local mechanics is frightening and ultimately put us off ...

Oil pressure.
Thats why it's always the next most common gauge on oem dashboards after speed, rpm, fuel level and water temp
In context of the original question, your justification for your answer is a contradiction.

If this is a road car no extra gauges are important at all.

If it is a ...

It's doubtful any of you would know that the late Willie Rutherford (a Pom recently resident in Canterbury) was, in the 70's & 80's, a factory supported Mazda driver in the UK.
He got his start in the rally business driving an RX3 Coupe from which he'd removed the rotary and installed a BDA ...

Accept your view of the sewer pump powered version but the installation of a BDA can only be an improvement.

The car is beautifully engineered from the ground up in Neal's Melbourne workshop and was a treat to watch.

To answer your questions Leon, the factory cars ran a range of flares. Most of the Grp4 cars had a 'deeper' side than these you see here (as you've spotted) but some were just the same ...

I bought a Garmin 1490T in August to take to Europe. I'd used a rental Garmin over there two years earlier and find the functionality and ease of use most suited.
I'd looked at the full range.

Buying it online it came with NZ, Australia & US maps installed. We got the Europe maps with it but ...

Being an ST803 it's at least 10 years old as this number was superseded by ST804 pre 2003.
A new LSD comes packed in a greaseproof wrap with grease coating so it's possible the grease that you can see is original even though it looks 'used' & black.

If interested, you'd need to check fitment ...

EDIT: Make that the second one, didn't realise this one was also on there: m

I see there's a brown one for sale at the local Nissan dealership so you'd assume it's been traded in.
So they've been on the market for 2 or 3 months. They've probably sold ...
