email leon@oldschool.co.nz and he'll get your account sorted. There are a few on there... I even saw a 4V and a 5V on a trailer the other day.

How serious is your project? ... Because a nascar V8 would always be a good option if you want a guaranteed 850hp.

Mag & Turbo Palmerston North. They do the majority of the racecars in the Manawatu, and all three guys who work there are active racers at Manfeild.

Craig owns the place, Nick is the best at wheel alignments. Give them a call on 3566006.

The 16V head should be fine... We had one drop a bolt inside the cam belt covers (killed the bottom sprocket and the belt) and it didn't have a problem.

Same deal with a silver top at the track - we threw a new belt on it and carried on.

I'd recommend that you don't compress the springs. People will disagree here, but cutting and re-shaping is actually a better option.... This will raise the rate slightly, but harder doesn't always equal a worse ride quality.

Getting springs made is another good option too.

Why not get ...

Good advice on here. Road and Track is the easiest way to get into entry level motorsport and you've got the added bonus that the club runs the day efficiently.

If they offer a morning session to see the lines, go and do it! The guys that drive you around have done a lot of laps and have helped ...

Geartech are awesome. They do the job right and always get the job done quickly. As Brad just pointed out, they aren't too expensive. My last diff job was slightly more than that with a couple of new bearings and some adjustment on the LSD.
