Just because no one have traded with the fella yet, plus the shocks has just been repainted. Can never be too sure..

a bit OT, has anyone done a conversion of a 3sgte into a ae92/101/111? Was thiking of how much that would cost. I know the car would be very off balanced..

i think you should get a 4agze and turbo it I know you want to keep it na.. but ur car is set up right, like it has good suspension to begin with 4AGTE it, you will love your car more later

back to the topic, with the TRD's although bumpy but you get lesser body roll and way better handling that the stock super strut ones. Lowered springs on super strut shocks are bumpy tho..

the exige s has the 1.8 from celica but supercharged. The normal elise uses the 1.8

i keep an eye on all the forums, NZH included, they actually are nowhere near as bad. i think its the 4age guys who have trouble dealing with it, but it usually seems to be the newer/younger owners of a 4age powered vehicle that go raving on about it.

Conclusion guys: As for the sake of the topic, no, 20v's aren't that bad. Yes they have a colourful history, yes some are powerful some are not, overall, its been a successful engine non the less. Celebrated over its time.

But for what its worth, there are better engines on par with the 20vs for ...
