it was showing no fault codes

it ended up being a blown capacitor on the ecu which was an easy fix

ae101 4age silvertop auto intermittent issue...

my sister has an ae101 trueno (auto ewww)

its started to crap out a few days ago, the motor just dies all of a sudden for no aparent reason

it does it when the engine is hot and cold so that doesnt help me narrow it down

every time ive tested it it seems to have spark on all the plugs

ive spoken ...

the first time i put a 17" tire on a rim myself i did exactly this to it and f**ked it beyond repair and i learnt from it

it was the foot thing on the tire machine that ripped/pinched/caught it when i did it

i have just recently bought a 2004 legacy turbo wagon for my day to day car

i will start off by saying that i think subarus belong in the scrapyard the moment they leave the factory... noisy lumpy unreliable sounding sacks of shit


the reason i bought one was because i wanted a turbo 4wd ...

bc golds have HEAPS of height adjustment in them, either they are the wrong shock, been installed wrong eg fornt to back, or the dont know how to adjust them

look up on youtube for a tutorial on how to adjust them yourself is my best advice and then do it yourself?

EBC Red Stuff pads are high performance pads, they are pretty much as high performance as you can get before you go into full track spec items

i run znoelli discs in my evo with ebc redstuff pads and they have awesome braking power

i have heard the znoellis dont stand up to track days too well but from my experience theyre great on the road

i bought my ebc pads from nzperformance and i got the rotors on trademe, there was a supplier ...

i cant be arsed researching this myself as its not my project but a friend asked me for info

he has a dx corolla wagon with a 4k engine and 4spd gearbox (cant remember year)

will a 4age with t50 gearbox bolt straight into it? or do you need different crossmembers etc, does the gearbox fit in ...

youre only going to get 1-2 psi boost spike if youre only running a stock turbo setup

youll be fine running 12psi. if you were going to wind it up to 24psi then it would be a bad idea

all manual boost taps will spike a little bit unless you go for an electronic one

towed this car from up up the port hills in chch on sunday morning, aparently they guy had just picked it up from the dealership to take it for a test drive...

(its a 3 week old FT86 in case you cant see it too well)
