Re: E85 availability

Here you go guys, a response from Gull:

"Hi,

You can buy E85 from the following Gull stations:

Melville – 82-84 Ohaupo Road
Pukekohe – 50 Manukau Road

Our Hampton Downs site will also supply E85 and is due to open in the next couple of weeks.

If you prefer, you can purchase drums directly ...

Re: Gull's E10 fuel

Good point. I think it can run 4 maps anyway (and can switch between them in 40 seconds or so), so I'll see if it's necessary from my tuner whether or not to bother with running a second 98 map for E10. I think the main issue was with pre-06' motors developing seal leaks running E10, wasn't it?

Re: Gull's E10 fuel

When the R35 arrives I'll install the Cobb V3 Accessport and have maps for 95, 98 and E85. With the 98 tune, do you think I should run two separate maps for BP 98 and Gull 98 though, or won't that be necessary?

Re: What did you do to your car today?

Basically just light paint scraping and a little bit of minor rim curbing - all paintwork has been done, car has been detailed and rims get repaired next week, then ready for Nats :D

He stole them, but it's just over $16 and 2 working days to replace them, so I'll have them Monday or Tuesday morning latest :)

Re: What did you do to your car today?

Finally got the Skyline home! A few small things left to do, but I'll sort them out early next week before Nationals Apologies, I've deleted the raw file, but here it is, all pretty once more thanks to GT Refinishers and Final Touch:

Re: NEW Supra Prototype.

They just chuck in a minor mention of the Supra for us fan boys, but in reality it's subtly designed around the R35 and will be in the next price bracket up from even the GT-R going off that design - if the basic designed GT86 was what, starting at $52-56k drive-away, then this is going to be at ...

Yeah, that's true. Benefit of the doubt for 'pain-in-the-ass(ness)' of working with the limited options available and the modifications necessary to get them to fit!

but having just replaced the entire carpet in the supra, you really, really have to love a car to endure that sorta torment and torture to replace it correctly and tidily D:

Really? I've swapped carpets between two of my old MKIVs and it took like a maximum of an hour-and-a-half (and I work ...

Random question: Does anyone know what club was holding a gymkhana at Ellerslie Racecourse today (Car Fair area)? There was a few Lotus 7s, Lotus Elise, AE86 Trueno lift-back (tidiest you'll ever see in your life), R33, Onevia S13, a few MX-5s (one with an 8 or 9-year-old driving) + more

You think $120/wheel is expensive? Arrow wheels charges $350 per wheel when it's only curb damage, and wiped out my perfectly good stickers when I told them not to.

So I reckon it's a good deal for $120!

$350?! I was charged $780 for one of my curbed wheels from them! There are guys on Wairau ...
