Sweet cheers! Each intercooler set up ive had have run different piping so would hope its not a boost leak but thats not to say its not leaking elsewhere. (in manifold etc). Thanks. Nope no fuel cut. I brought a gizzmo electronic boost controller so i might chuck that on and set it to 10psi and see what the gauge reads? Just wanted to make sure everything was all ok before I put the controller on. Thanks for your help as you said, could be the gauge.

Quick question. Non vvti 1jzgte. 3inch exhaust, pod filter, fmic. Runs 8psi. Is this normal? I have heard it should boost creep to 12psi. Had 3 different intercooler set ups in past. All run 8psi.

u dnt want any shaft play backwards and forwards, i dnt kw of anyway u could tell if the seals are fukt without running it. i would also look 4 cracks and see if exhaust wheel is chippd and if compressor wheel is fukt b4 buying

yes u can put bovs on sc but means u hav to put another tb after the sc, pointless as it releases the compressed air ur sc has just built up, would give u lag as sc has to take time to fill ur intercooler and piping with compressed air agen!

u dont need a cert for a half cage

efficientcy of turbo also depends on the exhaust side aswell

go t3, should give plenly of top end, if u went bigger u would proberly want to think about fuel, i think t3's are most efficient up to about 12-14psi.
