after owning the bmw 745i for a year i must say its a great car,
best feature about the car is the computer, it tells you when things need fixing or looked at before it becomes a major problem.

e.g
(warning rear brake pads down to 25%)
so you service it before the brake sensor is chewed ...

you cant check a rear engine mount just by looking at it, the rubber hides cracks really well, best way is to put it on a hoist and rock the engine back and forward to see if it peals the rubbers,
i had this problem in the girls auto ae111 and it was rear engine mount.

yes

i dont think you can use st215 cams in your st205 motor, because i think the intake cam is slightly shorter where the sensor trigger arm is bolted on, so you wont have enough meat to cut for the dizzy slot.
i might be wrong but best to check as i remember telling a friend it looked shorter ...

but fact is manufacturers already over-engineer their cambelts cause it would look really bad if a OEM cambelt broke, resulting in catostrophic engine failure. doesn't do much for brand image does it!?

cam belts should be done before 100,000k best at 80,000k
manufacturers wont give a toss ...
