Bilstein are usually setup to run a standard spring, if you give me specs i can check yours.

You can also re-valve the bilsteins firmer for $90+ each
We do it at work.

i dont see why it wouldnt do either, comes with dump pipe flange so u can point the exhaust any way you like. it doesnt look like it will stick up to high. and slot the studs to fit 16v.

i got a 2L (2.4 NA) hilux with 445000 on it not too long ago and its f-ing mint! was a company car so has been diamond serviced by the local mitsi(wtf?) dealer all its life. never misses a beat.
iv had nissan and mitsi diesels and i prefer this. 40 bux to fill at the moment does over 500kms oooh ...

i vote solenoid. you should be able to just short it with direct current to test if the starter will spin or is jammed etc.

mine was stuffed in my ute so i had to jump out and short it every few starts to get it going until i sorted that out.

ive got a locked mx73 f series and its mint. wouldnt go hilux from what ive heard its too heavy and torsen lsds are no good for the drift although sweet for grip and cheap as far as lsds go(altezza factory lsd into f series housing+shims <$500)

also i just scored an f series (open) out of a 3t ...

ive got a ton of good ones that i may update later but off the top of my head;

had a mate drain his auto tranny instead of his engine oil then fill his engine with fresh oil....to the top. then he rung me to ask why it was a different colour. hahaha 8 litres in an sr20de

snapped 2 studs off ...

Hey thanks alot for all the help guys, new ecu sorted the problem right out. dunno if it was capacitors or not as both ecu's looked in mint condition. i might try repair the old one one day.

Pulled ecu out and inspected it. cant see a single thing out of place and all looks very clean and non-leaky.

Will try buy a new ecu 2moro, u sure if i cant get codes it is the ecu??

figured it was somethin like that, jus been searchin on the net. limp mode drops timing right back so would explain why it feels like the timings out.

ecu behind the glovebox like usual?found the heater and shit but havent ripped anythin apart yet.
will get onto it tomorrow ...

hey was driving home today and the levin all of a sudden crapped out, kept running but engine light on fulltime and wont idle unless held at decent rpm and is running like it in limp mode or something

i got home, some 80km later at 60kph and tried to run the diagnostics but it wont give me any ...

just run a new piece of piping between comp housing and actuator to be sure. and id suggest pulling turbo out and checking wastegate flap as suggested above. turbo is easy to remove/refit in under an hr.

i had a gsr for a couple years and had a few similar issues such as running open boost or not ...

yeah i had a similar prob in my ute, ended up being a combination of dodgy ignition mechanism and in turn a fried solenoid.
